Looking at using the 647 grain Barnes Solid copper in my new BA-50 and AR50. Thoughts and feelings welcome. Ive been shoot my BOHICA upper with A-Max and getting 1.5 MOA at 600 which isnt bad for a cheap AR Upper but Ive been able to conclude both of these new rifles should do a bit better if fed properly.

I do not see where Barnes has a Solid Copper 647 gr? Could you post a link too it, so we can see it.  2 yrs ago a buddy and I both tried their Tac-LR projectiles in our match guns, and neither of us could get them to fly well, past about 600 yds. He called and left numerous messages on their Technical Help Line, as well as sent numerous emails requesting assistance.  They NEVER bothered to reply, and both of us now shoot Lehigh Solid Brass. I shoot 800 gr and he shoots the 808's. We have identical chambers, cut with the same reamer, same BBL manufacturer, same lengths and spec's, but my gun likes the 800 gr bore rider, his likes the 808 bore rider.

I'll never shoot another 50 Cal Barnes bullet.
